Dear Body,
Thank you for all the hard work you do, even when I’m not thinking about you.
(All those reminders to eat, sleep and breathe keep me going!)
You are both powerful and fragile. You give me structure and mobility. You can bring so much joy and even sometimes pain, and that is ok.
You are worthy of respect and love.
You deserve compassion.
You are worth more than a number on a scale.
Thank you for providing me shelter for my thoughts and emotions.
Dear Body, if I am lucky, we will be together for a while longer!
